I have always loved cats and dogs. I come from a family where pets are part of the family. My experience ranges from large active dogs to little timid dogs as well as elderly dogs and dogs with special medical needs. For a long time I had a blind dog who was awesome. As he aged I had to give him pills, eye drops, hand feed him, cook him special food, and even give him fluids (like an I.V. bag for people). I was happy to give him this care and would be happy to help other families meet their dog's needs whether they be general needs or special needs. I am a public school teacher. I have been thinking about getting a second job for a while now but have not been sure what I wanted to do. Everyone who knows me and my love of pets has urged me to work for Rover.com. I am excited to get to work with and interact with dogs. Being around dogs brings me a lot of joy. When your dog is in my care I will: -walk them at their pace -take them on at least three walks a day -make sure they have access to water at all times When your dog is in my care I won't: -leave them in my car unattended at any time -leave them with anyone else -feed them any table scraps or people food *If you have cats in addition to dogs, I will watch them for no extra charge.
