Pet care experience
I first got into dog sitting for my friends Mark and Nibby of Two Dog Farm because they knew I adored their two big farm dogs and wanted the opportunity to hang out and go on walks with them while they were on vacation for a week. Since that first introduction to dog sitting I've been having a blast! I was the go to person for friends, family, and even bosses to watch dogs of all sizes, temperament.... I have even regulated medications for those more elderly doggies! I'm very responsible and like to work with each dogs abilities to have fun, stay safe...did I mention I'm big on treats ;) I now have a doggo of my own named Winnie and she is the best life decision I ever made!

Thea is great with Maxx. Always takes good care of my boy Maxx. He’s a pull and she has been helping with training my little boxer guy. I see him getting better every day and I’m sure it’s partly because of her help during the day. I highly recommend her!
When Thea took care of our dogs when we were on vacation, we knew they were in good, kind, competent hands. She obviously took great delight in their company, sending us daily reports of their antics and adventures. She's strong and consistent and they adore her, which isn't true of everyone with my big dogs. I highly recommend Thea and would trust my dogs to her care anytime.
Thea is amazing. First of all, she is one of the brightest most positive, loving people I have ever met. She is responsible, compassionate, thoughtful and sweet. Thea has looked after my dog Harper since she was a wild little pup of only 3 months old. We all how hard it is to find a dog sitter that feels right but to find someone who was good with young pups is a veritable blessing. I knew my lil Harper was in loving hands and I was actually excited (and a bit jealous) that she got to spend a day with Thea. I highly recommend Thea and trust her completely. She has a great dog herself and is a very dedicated and considerate owner.

The most important thing for me is socialization, I want to know if your dog has certain fears like men and/or small children. I want to know any barking triggers so we can try and avoid that, and if your dog has any dietary or health concerns I should know of before we go out. I love all doggies!
A typical day
We will go on walks wherever you recommend in your neighborhood! I will ask before taking your dog/s out what their favorite games are too and if they have any leash behavior I need to know about to keep them happy. I also am a runner so if you would like your dog to be running I can do that too. I also like to work on training and have a clicker if that is something you would like to work into our playtime. I believe mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise for dogs so I would be happy to try out some basic commands with your dog as well.
