Pet care experience
I am a newer-ish (2020) member to the SLC community and am looking forward to getting back into caring for animals! I grew up on a farm raising alpacas and goats and would visit my mom on her cattle ranch to help during calving season. Because of my experience on the farm, I am very intuitive when it comes to changes in behaviors with animals and also working with pets that are more shy. I am also very experienced with medicine application and wound treatment and not to mention... I give a mean belly rub!! I love meeting new animals and am good with any pet: dog, cat, snakes, lizards, etc! I am available during the week if you’re in a bind so don’t hesitate to reach out. Just know that I do have a full time job. Otherwise, I am available almost all weekends for drop in visits and house sitting! I am happy to work out a long term schedule or just a quick weekend stay. Whatever your needs are, we can work it out 😊 I have a high vinyl fenced yard perfect for throwing the ball, playing tug of war for a high energy, fun loving fur baby that loves to play!

I cannot say how great Thea is. I know my sweet dog will miss being with her! Thea stayed at our home for six nights and seven days. I know she instantly connected with my yellow lab as her own. I received daily notes, photos, and videos of my dog. I"m so happy that she got spoiled for the week that my husband and I got spoiled on vacation. Thank you Thea! You're the best and I know that Kaci Mae already misses you!
Great app, loved the daily pictures & updates. I would definitely recommend her, and will use her services again in the future.?
Thea is great. She handled my "helicopter dog mom" anxiety very well while I was traveling internationally. I got lots of pictures and videos and my pups seemed well-cuddled.
Thea was such a wonderful pet sitter! She took great care of my cat while I was out of town, and I really appreciated the daily updates and photos from her drop in visits. I will definitely use Thea again!

The only thing I would like to know about a dog before hand is their personality. Are they shy? Are they sweet but hyper? Etc.
A typical day
I will stay close to the pets home just because they are familiar with that neighborhood. I don't want to put a pet in a situation where they are not comfortable with their surroundings especially as me and your fur baby are getting to know each other.

I do work full time up at the U but can always make time before and after work. If you’re close by, I can also swing by at lunch.
