Pet care experience
I've had dogs my entire life. I'm from New Jersey, and currently my Dad has 6 large dogs and 1 medium pup, my Mom has 1 large dog and 1 small pup, but I've been petless since moving to Massachusetts. I have experience with a wide range of breeds as well as experience managing high-energy pups and elderly pets too. I have house-sat for cat owners many times in New Jersey, but usually by referral. Any pet I have the honor to watch will be treated with the respect, love, and care that I give all of my own animals.

Thalia was wonderful! Our playful and active kitten Juno was well cared for, content, and happy staying with Thalia. The updates and photos sent throughout the long weekend gave me and my family peace of mind and were also smile inducing. We don't go away all that often, but the next time we do Thalia will be the first person I contact for availability.

I am happy to crate a pup if necessary, but whenever I'm home (unless otherwise instructed by you) your pet will be out and comfortable in my 1-bedroom apartment. Hard-wood floors means no mess is an issue, especially given my experiences with my own pets in the past. I clean frequently and live alone with no pets of my own, so your pets will be welcome to sit on any of my furniture if they want to. I have dog toys, food, treats, and a (washed) dog bed that will be available if you can't or choose not to bring your pets own from your home. I have cat toys as well - so any pets of any breed or species should feel welcome, warm, loved, and comfortable in my home.

Any medical needs, special dietary restrictions or requirements, or any other things that would affect how and when I care for you pet must be shared prior to watching/walking/visiting the pet. Any sensitive areas or no-no actions/words/triggers that you are aware of with your pet should also be shared prior to me watching your pet to ensure consistency of care (feed times, walk schedules, anything part of your pets routine) and the best experience for you and your pet with me.
A typical day
My apartment complex has a fenced in play area for dogs to run and play off-leash, whenever my parents or boyfriend visit with their dogs, we enjoy playing here. I live across from a golf course and there is lots of nice, low-traffic areas to walk around. If a pup requires longer walks or additional activity, I know of a dog park and would be happy to drive to a hiking location with the owners permission.

Availability
I am currently a full-time Law Student which requires me to be out-of-apartment for about 4 hours a day, Monday-Friday and 2 hours on Saturday. Besides these specific times, I will be home and happy to give attention and take dogs for walks regularly. My apartment complex has no weight restrictions on dogs, a small fenced-in pen for dogs to play off-leash, a complimentary pet-washing station located in building 1, and is otherwise extremely pet-friendly.
