Pet care experience
I have always loved animals of all kinds and sizes, whether they're animals of my own or friends and familys' animals, or when sitting for pet owners with a variety of needs. I have personally owned a laborator retriever, a cockapoo (trained starting in puppyhood), and tabby cats. Some of these pets have required medications, or a special diet due to pregnancies or age. I want to be certain to meet (and hopefully exceed) expectations while your furbabies are in my care - this happens best through good and open communication. I enjoy cuddling, playing, and taking dogs for walks so they can get zoomies out or smell all the things!

Tessa had my dogs for the weekend while we were away on vacation. She provided amazing care for them along with photos and updates daily! I would highly recommend her and will be booking again in the future!
Tessa is very communicative and was a huge help for our vacation.
At least, Linus was fed and watered. That was the main thing. However, During the meet n greet no notes were taken. As a result, the sitter's private entry code was lost and sitter was unable to get into the home. I was informed, she tried to contact my neighbor, her backup, for help. However, the neighbor does not have have any record, text, calls, or video showing the claim for help. Instead, I was contacted, while traveling out of the country, resulting in additional fees. My instructions were not followed regarding feeding, litter box cleaning and litter disposal. I am thankful sitter did come to tend to Linus while facing winter weather.

It is just myself where I live and I maintain a clean house and living space (I do let animals on my furniture if the owners are alright with that). I am observant and respectful. I will follow the wishes of the pet owners especially when trusted in their homes.

A typical day
I have a yard where I can play fetch with dogs in a secure area. I use a tennis ball or tug of war, playful and having fun with pets. I would be attentive to any pets I am caring for, adapting to their temperament. I'm sure some animals find lounging around quite fun too! In such cases I will be equipped with blankets and pillows so they're warm and cozy.

I work part time during the week. I enjoy going on walks so I would like to provide companionship and love to fill whatever needs exist as I live alone with a lot of adaptability.
