*Please note that I am not currently accepting new boarding or housesitting clients at this time* Hi! I was a pet parent for 14 years and lost both of my senior dogs about 3 years ago. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes and ages, as well as a wide range of special needs including medication administration and training with positive reinforcement. I have most recently been caring for pets of friends and personal referrals only, but am able to take on new clients since transitioning to working from home full-time.

Tessa has continued to take wonderful care of our super senior cat as his needs have changed. Garfield is extremely well taken care of.

Best cat sitter around! We have a very shy cat, but our cat felt comfortable to come out for Tessa. It made us feel so much more secure on vacation knowing our cat wasn’t stressed or uncomfortable. Highly, highly recommend Tessa!
Tessa took wonderful care of our cats, and even handled a poop problem with our older boy. She cleaned up after him and bathed him twice. We came home to a clean house (and two clean kitties). She has a wonderful touch with animals and great patience for our crusty old man Garfield.

Whether caring for your animal in my home or yours, I respect the rules and boundaries you have set for your pet in regards to being allowed on furniture, etc. I’m a cuddler, so if they are not allowed on furniture then I will absolutely be spending time on the floor with them :) I have a reliable vehicle and can provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination/booster upon request.

A typical day
I have great time-management skills so I am able to provide a lot of attention to your pet during traditional work hours. Your pet will go on walks in the neighborhood and I provide lots of attention indoors with either playtime or cuddles, your pet's choice!

Availability
Having been a pet owner for several years, I recognize how important a pets schedule is to them as well as their owners. Early morning walks and meal time are no sweat for me. I prefer to take dogs on 2-3 longer walks per day, as well as additional brief potty breaks in between. It helps them exert energy and prevents indoor potty accidents!
