Dogs are a huge stress reliever for me! I have had dogs my whole life and cared for two dogs in my home for the past 8 years. I currently have one 65lb pup, Jack- a friendly golden/lab retriever mix we rescued about 8 months ago. He's great with other dogs at the dog park and on walks, but we haven't tested having another dog board in the home so I am not offering boarding at this time. I have a particular soft spot for large dogs who think they're lap dogs, but love all sizes of pups! My favorite thing to do with my dog is take him to the Metro Parks to walk the trails, or go to one of the local dog parks. I would love to take your pups to the parks for walks if that's what they like! Our previous dog was 110+lb lab and he had some health issues, so I am experienced in pilling, special diets/supplements and monitoring for medication side effects. I also have experience with mobility aids (ramps/stairs, special leashes). Pups who need a little extra TLC are in good hands when they're with me. I currently work as a nurse practitioner Monday through Friday, so my immediate availability is weekends. Starting April 13th I am open for weekday care, including house sitting and overnights.
