I absolutely love animals and, as a dog mom myself, I understand how hard it is to find someone perfect that you can trust with your pup. Me: I live in Eugene, OR with my partner in life, Kevin, and two energetic dogs: a Goldendoodle named Vilo (8yrs old) and a mixed breed Husky/German Shepherd/Pit Bull named Zordon (2yrs old). Experience: -Dog mom to Vilo and Zordon. -Dog aunt to two sweetheart Pit Bulls, a Labradoodle, and Maltipoo. -Dog walking/sitting and cat sitting for friends and neighbors all my life. -I grew up caring for fish and guinea pigs too. Dog Type and Personality: Dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities welcome! I have experience taking care of dogs who love playing and interacting with people/dogs, dogs who hate people/dogs, and dogs who get over-excited or reactive to people/dogs. My pups fall into the last category, so I always take treats on walks, take note of where other dogs live around the neighborhood, and am comfortable redirecting when other dogs/people are near. Whatever personality your dog has, I will love and care for it! Please let me know if your dog experiences anxiety, PTSD, or depression so that I may provide the best care. Dog Training: With two sensitive, reactive pups, I've taken classes with dog behaviorists to understand the best way to support them day-to-day. I train my dogs daily on loose leash walking, basic behavior skills, and settling in different stimulating environments. If you have a current training routine or a behavior you would like me to work on during my time with them, let's chat about it! Dog Care: I have experience feeding, training, bathing, nail clipping, hair trimming, crate training, walking, running, hiking, combing, and playing with dogs. I also have experience brushing teeth, giving medicine (oral or topical), taking pee samples, and giving IVs if needed. You will have full transparency and can receive as many updates/pictures throughout the day or night as you like. P.S. I'm an avid gardener if you need any plants looked after in your home as well.
