Hi everyone, my name is Tessa! I’m a big dog lover and am comfortable with all breeds. I grew up around Boston terriers and most recently had a golden doodle. I’m used to all ages of dogs and love puppies as well. I’m very responsible and timely, and currently have a fairly flexible schedule as I work remotely. I also will ensure your dog is safe, picked up after, and clean before being returned to your home. I’m open to dog walks, check-in visits, and overnight sitting. I live in NE Portland and am happy to come to your home but don't have the ability to take in dogs at my house. Repeat customers are ideal to get to know a dog and it’s owner! I think dogs need to be checked in on at least 4 times a day when I do overnight stays! I like to take dogs on multiple walks as well and stay at the house as much as possible.

I’ve taken care of a deaf dog before and am comfortable with special needs as long as we can discuss how to best care for them beforehand!
A typical day
I like to take dogs on lots of walks, even if some of them are short just to get them out of the house. If they like to play fetch or go to the dog park, that is great too! Otherwise, just time playing with them inside or being present so they don’t get lonely.
