Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs my whole life. We got my first pet around 6 years old. Now I have my own dog. My love for him brought me to dog grooming professionally for 2 years. However, I am currently taking a break from that to persue other desires. I currently work from home but miss seeing so many dogs everyday. I can provide nail trims with any visit and baths during boarding stays over 4 days for an extra fee. I believe in keeping dogs as comfortable as possible. I have training experience and would love to help you work on it. Just let me know if there are any training you need help with or want me to continue to keep your dogs memory fresh.

Tessa is a friend to all animals! Old, young, healthy, sick, trained, untrained, she loves them all! She is so patient, and will make your animal feel as loved as if they were hers! She communicates very well, which is especially important when you have a high maintenance animal! Tessa never shows up late, is always punctual, and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

I am currently getting my yard fenced in. It will be going up most likely by April (unless their are delays on the construction side or weather). I also have 4 foot gates up in order to give my cats space. Generally, while I am home my dog roams around. When I am gone I gate him out of the kitchen because he has a terrible counter surfing habit we are trying to break 🤭 While the fence is going up, I take my own dog potty on a leash in my front yard. When I take any pets on a walk, we always utilize a leash or harness of some kind for safety and ease of mind.

Let me know if your dog needs anything specific as far as allergies go or issues with potty training or anything like that. I can section off the carpeted area of my home.
A typical day
I love doing enrichment for dogs with puzzles and lick mats as well as provide exercise by playing with toys or going on walks. I also enjoy teaching them hide and seek which I have found has helped a ton with my own dogs recall in many situations.

Availability
My schedule is pretty flexible. I do need access to Internet for my work from home job M-F from 9-5. My weekends are completely flexible besides some regular errands I have to run to stay a functioning adult 😀 I will be able to begin boarding and in house day care even more. Once my current roommates move out. They are leaving in may.
