Pet care experience
I've been a dog lover as long as I can remember 🐶 I brought home so many strays over the years my parents stopped asking questions and just helped me rehome them 😂 I watched all my friends dogs in college and I spent numerous years volunteering at shelters and adoption/chipping events. I know how important a part of the family a pet can be and I promise to take care of them in the same way that you do. I've owned 8 dogs and know how hard it can be to find someone trustworthy to take care of them. I'd love to be that person for you!

Just picked up Cali and it was a madhouse in there. Too many dogs for a small house. A couple dogs including mine were locked up for who knows how long. Urine all over the floor. Do yourself and your dog a favor and find a different sitter.
Tessa was outstanding! Very communicative, sent pictures, and was flexible with our trip. My dog was so happy and barely wanted to leave! Will definitely be bring him back. Thank you!!!
Tessa took great care of our 3 cats. This was our second time having her take care of them and we'll definitely call on her the next time.
Tessa took wonderful care of my babies! She was just so wonderful and caring!

I have a den with a dog couch, beds and crates for the dogs that need them. A large water bowl cleaned each day is kept filled and available at all times. During meals I only feed 1 dog at a time with all others in a different room. If your dogs are typically fed together at home with no food aggression issues then I will feed them together if asked. But my general rule is 1 at a time and that also includes treats. I have plenty of bowls including slow feeders if needed, so there’s no need to bring anything other than the food and any medications they may be taking. I also ask that you DON’T bring any favorite toys/blankets/bones since that is typically the only time dogs will show aggression here. I provide plenty of toys and puzzle/treat activities if they are allowed to have them and they don’t seem to be as possessive as they are with their own items. If dogs are allowed on furniture at home they’re also allowed to be in the living room area. We have crates and/or dog beds in my bedroom and my kids room - dogs that are used to and more comfortable sleeping with their people are more than welcome to sleep upstairs with us, others typically spread out in the den. I have a fenced yard surrounded by a large greenbelt perfect for walks and getting some sniffing time in. For house sitting jobs, I ask for a detailed list of anything you’d like taken care of during the stay - trash out/mail picked up/linens washed/etc and I will do my best to make sure the house is in better condition than when you left 😊 A list of meal times/walks/potty schedule is also great and I put it on your fridge for easy reference during the stay!

Information Tessa N. would like to know about your pet
I like to have their daily schedule: potty breaks, meal times, walk times and bedtime. Please let me know of any foods that are off limits, if treats are allowed, any medications needed & instructions for administering, if they do well with children and other dogs and anything you feel is important! I do have children but I have separate areas for boarding dogs that aren't comfortable being around them.
A typical day
My kids and I love our neighborhood park and take plenty of walks/bike rides over. I try to spend at least 2hrs outside for every dog depending on their needs. When we aren’t out of the house, I have treat puzzles/interactive games, toys and more to occupy them and get their energy out.

Availability
I pet sit full time from home so the more the merrier! My typical max is 6 dogs although depending on the situation I may take up to 8. Other than taking my kids to and from school/activities and some scheduled dog walks, I’m home and available full time. At home I typically do walks at 6:30am, 10am, 1:30pm, 4pm and a final walk between 8:30-11pm. If your dog doesn’t need/want that many walks that’s completely fine - I go off of your schedule and requests but always offer as much outdoor time and exercise as you’d like! I ask that dogs be dropped off no earlier than 6am and picked up no later than 10pm (willing to make exceptions but this is my general rule🙂). Please always communicate by text when you are on the way and by text upon arrival and avoid knocking or ringing the bell since it can set the dogs barking off, thanks!
