Pet care experience
I grew up around dogs and have always loved animals. I have a two and a half year old Australian Shepherd named Blue who loves making new friends and playing with other dogs! I have a fenced yard and I love being active and taking dogs out on hikes and walks around the area. I am a writer and work from home a few days a week. On days I go into the office I am at the dog park in the morning and on a walk or in the backyard playing fetch after work. I like sitting because it adds variety into my day and gives me furry friends to hang out with and take care of. I am responsible, reliable and am quick to respond to phone calls and texts for any questions or special needs you might have. I know from personal experience how important it is to find the right sitter for your pet (I use Rover when I need a sitter for my girl, Blue!). So I take extra steps to make sure you and your dog are comfortable with me and my home.

Tessa and her husband were the best!! I was nervous about leaving our puppy for daycare since we had just moved across the country and he was pretty anxious. However, Tessa eased all my worries. Her dog Blue was the sweetest, most perfect playmate for my dog, and she sent me a handful of photos that made me laugh throughout the day. They have a great yard and house for the dogs, too. Tessa also took my dog to the dog park both days, which was so great for him. Finally, Tessa was so kind, professional, and communicative. I will definitely book her next time I'm in town. Tessa was great with Charlie and treated him like a member of her own pack! He got plenty of walks and playtime with Bleu and the enclosed outdoor yard gave me great peace of mind. I wouldn't hesitate to leave Charlie in her care again and can't rate her highly enough.
Tessa was a wonderful dog sitter and I felt completely comfortable having her watch my dog. She sent me pictures during the day and let me know how things were going. She was very responsible and loving towards my dog! I would definitely trust her to take care of my dog again and recommend her to anyone else looking for a great dog sitter or dog walker!
