***I am currently unavailable for overnight housesitting, due to my cats having some behavioral issues. I am more than happy to provide housesitting services if they are okay by themselves overnight!*** I am vaccinated! I was raised on a farm and have been surrounded by animals my entire life. I began volunteering at animal shelters at the age of eight, and fostering puppies and kittens with my mom when I was 12. Since then, I've consistently cared for dozens of my own pets as well as many others. My pet care experience includes cats, dogs, small mammals/rodents, reptiles, birds, and fish. I'm incredibly passionate about animals and care for them a lot. I strive to make sure that my pets are happy, healthy, and fulfilling their best lives, and would do nothing less for your pets.

Tess did a fantastic job taking care of my German Shepherd while I was away for a work trip! She exceeded expectations and met all of my dog’s needs! Because of her help, my dog is happy and healthy and I did not need to worry at all while I was away. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs help taking care of their pets!
Tess was amazing and gave us peace of mind being gone knowing they were in her capable hands. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her in the future!
Tess was one of the best walkers I have found on Rover. Her communication was great and always sent pictures. She is definitely at the top of my list if I need to book a walker in the future! 10/10 recommend!
Tess is great. She helped us out on short notice and was incredibly easy to work with. She gave us many updates and she let us know if she had any questions while we were out of town. We knew Otto was in great hands! We will definitely ask her to help us again in the future.

I'm able to offer in-home petsitting for caged animals including small mammals and reptiles under 20 gallon enclosures. I can provide ample care in your home! I'm very well versed on animal care, and will make sure to fulfill any and all specific needs your animal requires. The safety and happiness of your pet is my number one priority. As previously mentioned, I am vaccinated, however- if you would like me to wear a mask at any point during our interaction please let me know and I'd be happy to do so.

A typical day
I love walking around the city and being with the dogs I watch. I enjoy spending time playing with/getting to know the animals I'm around before committing to caring for them, and love in home play as well!

I'm currently a college student at VCU and this is my primary job other than school at the moment. I'm incredibly passionate about animals and split my time caring for a few of my own pets as well as others, and enjoy devoting a fair amount of time to the animals in my life. I'm currently on summer break and am typically available most (if not all) of the day. I work another job on the weekends so sometimes have minimal availability, but I'm happy to work around your schedule and make a plan that works for you.
