I love dogs and being outside!
Pet care experience
I'm new to Toronto and have been taking a break from Rover for a while so please excuse the poor response time! I'm going to be working extra hard to get those scores back up so rest assured that I'll be quick with replies and eager to meet your dogs. I've always loved dogs, particularly energetic ones. Playing with dogs and taking them for long walks/jogs is just about my favorite thing to do so you can trust that they won't be stuck in a crate under my care! I have looked after my friends' dogs while they go on trips and they always seem surprised at just how happy their dog looks after being outside for such a long time. I've had a pug for 6 years, though he is sadly not staying with me here in Toronto. On top of that, I took care of a 16 year old rescue cocker spaniel in her final days, which has given me experience working with dogs suffering from arthritis, acute blindness, and hearing loss. I genuinely just love the company of a dog and ensuring that they're having a fun and safe time.

Tess was amazing! Our two girls were sad to see her go. Lots of pictures and text to keep us updated ... made us able to enjoy our time away. I will be recommended Tess to all our friends with pets.
Tess was great. She was very attentive to Shoey. Shoey is a very old Yorkshire terrier that requires his food soften and sometimes he needs to be carried. Tess did all this with a smile and sent lots of pictures showing how he was cared. I will definitely use her again. She is awesome.

Tess and her boyfriend were super friendly and took very good care of Minnie! I haven't left her with anyone I didn't know before, and right off the bat Tess was friendly and made me feel comfortable about leaving her behind. She even bathed her after her week long stay.... which totally was going above and beyond! She sent me videos and photos daily... which was perfect. I would definitely love for her/them to watch Minnie again, thank you so so much!!

What I really need to know about your dog is whether or not they've been trained, or if they're in the process of being trained. It also helps to know their usual schedule (how long they're used to being outside for, how often they need to be taken outside, whether their meals are controlled or if the dog controls their own rations, etc.)
A typical day
I'm still exploring the area and as an environmental science graduate student, parks and hiking trails are where I spend most of my time. Having a dog around for those times makes it all better!
