I have always been in town over holidays so have long been a petsitter of all friends' and partners' pets, including bunnies, cats, dogs, and even one friend's rats. I have a love for every type of animal. I grew up with an indoor/outdoor rabbit, a cat, a very large dog, and a lizard, so my love for all living creatures has always been present. I am a cat foster for APS and regularly do sleepover weekends with Saving Grace dogs to give them a break from the farm.

Tessa is an exceedingly caring, responsible, conscientious person, with pets and everything else. I don't think you could find a better person to look after your dog. I would trust her with my dog without a moment's hesitation.
Tess is one of the most thoughtful and dependable people I have ever met. She loves all animals and has always been willing to help watch or walk my dog if I ever needed it. Can't recommend her enough!

A typical day
I go to the Eno many weekends, go on runs through Duke Forest, and walk around central Durham every evening. I live by a school with a great campus for dog smells and many friendly, leashed dogs if your dog likes interacting with others.

Availability
I am a therapist in central Durham who does not travel for holidays so I have plenty of flexibility to check on your cats, dogs, fish, bunnies, or plants when you are at work or traveling. I walk around on a regular basis and know all the best spots for dog smells. I am also a runner so happy to tire out a super energetic pup on weekends or during holidays. I am a mellow person who enjoys simply reading at night and cozying up with an animal and can pass do that happily in the company of your pets.
