Pet care experience
I have spent my life on a hobby farm. I have gone through 4-H dog training as a child and other programs as an adult. I host an annual dog competition at my home for friends and family. I have a degree in animal science and have worked at animal shelters and horse farms. I have owned and worked with most types of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, sheep, goats, and poultry. I have experience with administering medication to sick or elderly animals. I am patient with shy animals and feel rewarded when they come out of their shell. I can't wait to meet some new furry friends.

Tess is definitely a dog person! I have watched her interact with a variety of dogs over the years. She seems to know what each dog needs to feel comfortable with her and adjusts accordingly. Tess finds great joy in her interaction with animals and I love to watch her hanging out with my dog. She is also really good at trimming my guinea pigs' toenails!

I am very safety conscious and realize that some dogs can be a flight risk no matter how happy they are in their home. Dogs will always be leashed outside unless in fenced yard. I love playing games with dogs both physical and mental such as fetch and hide and seek.

Availability
I am available mornings and afternoons until 4 pm Monday through Saturday. I have dependable transportation and am willing to work around the client's schedule.
