Pet care experience
I have been working with Dogs since I was 10. My mother and I began fostering Cats when I was 8, and soon after started fostering Dogs! My mother is now working full time for two different Dog Rescue Organisations - Oodles of Doodle Inc., and It's a Ruff Life Inc. I have helped her raise puppies, take care of sick and injured dogs (which included administering medicines and removing stitches), house train dogs of various ages, train dogs to basic commands, give baths, and of course give loads of love!

Tess did a wonderful job taking care of our dog and cat. She was communicative and periodically sent pictures and left the house as she walked into it. Great job Tess!
We left Leo with Tess for 5 days while traveling. Tess took real good care of him! She was thorough, sent us regular updates, asked questions when she had doubts. We came back to find a happy and healthy Leo. She also left our home just like how we left it with her.. We look forward to having her take care of Leo again in the future.
Tess is extremely responsible and Mac loves her. She was prompt and thorough and I am excited for her to come and watch him again!
Tess stayed with our dog while we were away for a week. We booked with her way in advance and she came twice before staying to meet with him, review his schedule and get familiar with our house. During her stay with him, she communicated regularly to keep us updated and walked him daily (he’s a 100-lb lab). At the end of our trip, Tess gave us a thorough summary and left the house spotless. Best dog and home sitter we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Has your dog ever been aggressive to humans/animals? Is your dog allergic to any foods or medications? Is your dog on a special diet? Is there anything your dogs hates (such as he doesn't like his back leg touched)? What are the rules of the house (for example: Is Fido allowed on the couch)? I am comfortable with all breeds.
A typical day
I love going out into nature, so depending on where you live, I would love to take your pet to a local park for their exercise. If that is not possible, or not advisable for the pet, then I would ask where you like to walk your dog, and stick to that route. I would not take your dog to a dog park with out your permission to do so. I love play time, so we would definitely have some fun playing with their favourtie toys, or having a game of fetch in the back yard. I also love going over tricks, or working on commands, so if there is anything you think your pet needs work on, I would be happy to address this during my stay!
