Pet care experience
Throughout high school and a couple of years in college, I worked and volunteered at a handful of vet clinics and shelters. I studied animal science for one year in undergraduate and have a moderate-above average understanding of animal health and behavior. Throughout my time working at a vet clinic in high school, for four years, I assisted in surgeries, learning how to do exams, and tending to animals both big and small. I have an above average understanding of behavior training methods including classical and operant conditioning from studying psychology in my undergraduate and masters program. I do not believe in corporal punishment. For an extra fee I will work with your pet learning tricks, leash training, litter training (cats), doggie door training, and overall environmental well-being assessments.

Tesla is a phenomenal pet sitter and owner! Having had experience with dogs that are aggressive towards other dogs and people, in addition to those with medical needs, she is highly attuned to the needs of various dogs/cats and coordinates her care around it. Highly recommend letting Tesla care for your fur babies. You won’t be disappointed!
Tesla genuinely loves fur babies. She will give the same loving & nurturing care she does her own. She is kind, trustworthy and honest. I wouldn’t trust my fur baby with any else! Rest assured your baby will be loving care.

Pets will be allowed to roam throughout the home as they please throughout the day and will be either crated or sequester to their designated room during sleeping hours. If you have specific preferences on crating hours or sleeping arrangements, I would be happy to discuss those during consultation. All animals are fed dinner at 8pm. We do not feed animals human food in our home, and will not feed our clients dogs human food either. Our animals have plenty of toys for your animals to play with in our home, but we are always open to accepting your animals favorite toys here during their stay, however, we cannot guarantee the quality of the toy in our household. We only purchase durable toys for our dogs.

Detailed instructions for your pets care (feeding schedule, crating, additional care requirements, etc.) is required with each booking. I am able to and feel comfortable giving pills, injections, and oral medications given your pet is tolerable and does not exhibit any aggressive behavior. All animals in the household are vaccinated and are up to date, therefore, we expect our clients to be up to date as well including bordetella. Aggressive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in termination of the client-sitter relationship.
A typical day
I love to offer a variety of toys for pets throughout the day. We will throw ball minimum of twice per day, treat bones and puzzle toys are often given around lunch time. We have a spacious, lush green fenced in back yard available for autonomous use throughout the day weather permitting. Your dog will get to go on a daily walk around the neighborhood to check out the sites and get all the sniffs.

Availability
I work from home and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. I am home all day with our animals. We have a doggie door that is periodically left open for autonomous access to our spacious, fenced backyard. I am typically home in the evenings studying or working on projects for my small business so I am always available to the pets and take conscious efforts to ensure they are stimulated throughout the day.
