Terry is a great choice for your pets because he not only cares for the dog, but wants to help them be the best they can be - as a loyal and obedient dog for you, but also one that loves life and has fun for your pet's happiness and health. His attention to repetitiveness and ability to keep dogs well-trained is admirable; his mix of a stern-demeanor during training (note, I did not say strict - think tough love), positive reinforcement and playfulness after-training will lay out the groundwork to have your dog admired by other pet owners. Of course, if your dog is already trained, he's good at keeping up with your rules and commands to keep your dog on that A+ track. He truly cares for dogs and wants to understand them without hindering them or handicapping them (e.g. he understand that Pitbulls aren't always vicious, or that small dogs are too fragile to play around - they're both loving little furballs that are misunderstood in those aspects). He may be stern with training, but he is very gentle and compassionate when he needs to be. I have seen him with his own medium-sized dog, my small dog, the variety of friends's dogs, and all the dogs anyone can come across at parks and in the street. The love, understanding and playfulness he has with all of them is honestly something you should want for someone watching your best friend.
