My experience includes putting my own pup Myles through both private and group classes with different trainers from basic training to agility classes, levels 1-3. I have loved learning a variety of approaches to find what worked best and most gently with my Brittany Spaniel, from pup into his senior years. This is what led me to become a dog trainer as well. I currently have a cat at home. He is fixed and indoors most of the time. He is friendly and leash trained and loves to go out for our walks. He gets along with animals that we meet on our regular walks, at the local park and beaches. He also enjoys having our Rover guests. In addition to my Rover offerings listed here, I do offer private training to help you to have a calmer and more peaceful life together. This differs from my other services because dog training requires the most important part which is your involvement in the ongoing training process. If you are currently frustrated and looking for additional training and support to help your dog or pup to break free of troubling habits/behaviors, experiencing anxiety or fears I do offer the most effective training that I found to work for dogs of all ages. The most important things for me to know about are any special needs your fur friend has. I will need to know their regular schedule, their individual personality including challenges. Let me know about any favorite toys and special activities they like. This will help me to keep your furry friend safe, more comfortable, happy and tired by the end of our visit.
A typical day
I would love to add more fun and joy into your furry friends day by engaging your furry loved ones in activities that they enjoy most. That could include playing with their favorite toys and games, supporting training that is already in progress and taking them out for a walks. We could take walks out in your own neighborhood or take a short trip to a local park or beach that you both feel most comfortable and familar with. I do offer photos and short videos of that time we've shared together so you get to be a part of the time we've spent together. Communication of the time I've shared with your furry loved one is an important part of each of my visits that I'm more than happy to share with you.

I have been blessed to get to know, love and work with both my own fur kids as well as many other people's dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, geckos, lizards, fish, pet birds and farm animals such as ducks, chickens and alpacas. I look forward to meeting you and your furry, finned and feathered friends.

Terry has been an integral part of helping our adopted, senior cat come out of his shell. She’s so patient and kind with him. We are extremely glad for Max that we found someone like Terry to care for him when we need to be out of town or are working long days/ odd schedules.
Terry was wonderful with Atlas during our time away, as usual! She provided regular and detailed updates on how he was doing, including many photos of her and Atlas's fun times together. Upon our return home, Atlas was calm and relaxed - clearly showing how comfortable he feels with Terry as his sitter! I highly recommend Terry to anyone looking for a dedicated and caring pet sitter - she is truly something special!
