Panhandle Pet Haven

Pet care experience

We have a new 4 year old boxer who loves to run and play. Her name is Piper. We fostered and adopted Greyhounds in Arizona and were featured on "Good Morning America" featuring the adoption and fostering process. Michele has attended many dog obedience classes and was a member of 4H where she use to show dogs in local dog shows. Our neighborhood is located in a nice quiet wooded dead end street. We love our neighbors. Everyone socializes out front after work where all the neighbor hood dogs also get to play and socialize. The black and white dog in the photo is not ours. He just thinks he is.He comes scratching at our door every morning looking to play with Piper. I can not accept dogs in heat. My house has laminated floors and all furniture is dog comfy. Plenty of room in our beds for those overnight stays. We have a dog door and bells on our patio doors for those who don't want to use the dog door. Recently dog sat a 4 month old lab who needed closer supervision and potty training. She was high energy so we borrowed neighborhood dogs to help drain some energy. Dogs won't be bored with our large wooded back yard and occasional squirrel to chase. Our guest dogs especially like chillin under our large oak tree. I also have an agility tunnel and plenty of dog toys around too. Not responsible if your pet doesn't want to go home. Dogs picked up after noon will be charged for that daycare. All pets must have flea control and current shot records. Copy of records necessary for the health and well being of my dogs and guest dogs. Meet and greet necessary for all local dogs. I limit my pet guest to only 4. I feel this is best for my furry guests. Too many pets can be overwhelming for guest pets.. I know some host take in several pets at a time but I like to limit my different pets and thus different needs and personalities. I usually limit large dogs to 2 guest. I recently had ro take a medical leave but I am now back to watching your precious fur babies again. Unfortunately due to our house insurance restrictions, we can not board Pit Bulls, German sShepherds ,Chow breeds or hybrid wolf dogs. ALL NEW DOGS WANTING TO BOARD MUST HAVE A MEET N GREET.

We had such a great experience with this overnight stay. My pup came home tuckered out from all the playtime with their dog Piper. I would absolutely want them to care for Winston again.

I felt comfortable leaving our collie Shelby with Terry and his wife. They kept us updated on how she was doing and sent us pictures every day. We will definitely use them again if they are available.

Terry and Michelle were fantastic! They have two very well behaved boxers that are easy to get along with. They send updates. Overall I highly recommend them!
