Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs of my own my entire life and have taken care of dogs in a shelter. I have learned about diets and basic training/dog handling. I’ve also had the pleasure to care for puppies and senior dogs. I have been around cats as well, my roommate even has a cat who is very energetic.

For the 4 years that I’ve known Terry, she has always been animal lover. Terry has always surrounded herself with animals throughout her life in many ways. When she was younger she has shadowed at her local vet clinic in her hometown and helped however she could at her young age. This experience is what I believe really pushed her into the direction of dream career she is pursuing in veterinary medicine. Recently, she has volunteered at community animal shelters and assisted the staff with their daily husbandry care for the cats and dogs at the shelter, as well as, walking and leash training the dogs that come in to the shelter to prepare them for their future “furever”homes. She herself is a fur momma of many animals. If I ever need a dog or cat sitter, she is the one I would call for without a doubt!
Terry is a great person to be one's dog sitter. She is kind, caring, and has a huge passion for animals, especially dogs. Due to her experience working at a rescue shelter, she has the knowledge of how to create a comfortable environment for herself and the animals she is taking care of. Terry is a hard worker and is the best choice when looking for a dog sitter.

I currently don’t have dogs with me at home. My parents recently moved and decided to take my babies with them since my roommate has an indoor cat (they don’t like cats lol). It was the safest thing for them and I miss them terribly. When I do drop-ins for your home you can count on me to carefully follow all instructions or precautions you may have. I’m a good listener and a perfectionist (it’s kind of a curse lol) so anything important you need me to handle, I got it covered.

Any medications for your dog during my visit or walk? I will be more than happy to give them those medications as I’m well experienced. Let me know if you have any other needs for senior dogs such as shorter walks with more shady areas I will do what’s best for their health always. Anything like behavior problems they might have I will do my best to plan accordingly. Example: leash biting? Metal leashes are the way to help the problem. If you have anything special they walk with like harnesses or gentle leaders, I have plenty experience using these equipment. Literally anything you need let me know. I don’t care if you have a 2 page list, I want to properly care for your animals needs the best way I can and put less stress on you and your pets.
A typical day
Let me know your dogs likes and dislikes. They love playing in water at the beach or in their pool you have at home? I got it covered. Does your dog have a lot of energy? The best dog park I know is the way to go. Is your dog kind of lazy? No problem, I will find shade at the park and we can have a picnic with treats they’ll love. For drop-in visits I will make sure your pet has everything they need to feel comfortable with me in their home. Just let me know your routine and I will follow it no problem! If you need help with training I can do my best to teach the few techniques I learned from a shelter from their dog behavioralist.

I recently left my job to spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying a dog’s company. I will have plenty of time during the week to walk/play with any lovely pet during your busy work schedule. They deserve it because they are family too.
