I have had dogs most of my life but I don't have a dog of my own right now as I sometimes work away. However, this means I give all my attention to my doggy visitors when they are with me. I was with Dog Buddy before it became Rover. I love having dogs around and I have had a fabulous time with all my doggy visitors. Some of whom featured in the photos. I am available throughout much of the winter and some of the summer and occasionally at short-notice. (My work plans do change and I may suddenly open up my calendar at the last minute). I have secure small garden and will give my goofy guests on lead walks and guaranteed TLC. There are lots of public footpaths around here. Having owned dogs from puppies through their lives to being slightly dotty seniors with needs, I think I am familiar with the differing stages and foibles of a doggy life. From a madcap swirl of activity to a very slow plod up the lane. As an older person myself I am only too happy to look after the old ones who want a quiet life and company. If you wish, I am more than happy to provide online updates or texts during their stay or for you to call/skype me and see how they are doing. If required I can pick up or drop off dogs (additional charge). There is also an additional boarding charge for Bank Holidays. This will be an additional £10 per day, per dog for Xmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day. There will be no pick up or drop off on these days. NB I only normally take dogs from one home at one time. I like to meet all my doggy clients and their owners before their stay. In the unlikely event I accepted a booking at someone's home it would be conditional on unlimited and good internet access. Unfortunately, I am allergic to cats and rabbits and horses and am unable to stay anywhere they are present.
