Pet care experience
Furbabies are a priority when in my home. They get a lot of TLC and attention while here. They are not left alone and are allowed to adjust to the new environment at their own speed. They are treated as my own. Since 2012, I have fostered (both temp and long term) and transported for rescues more than 200 cats and all kinds and sizes of dogs --young, old, big, small, scared, skinny, pregnant, sickly, healthy, etc. For several years, I ran my own rescue. As a result, I am aware of the needs of our furbabies and the need to listen to the furparent and watch the behavior of the furbabies.
Reviews
Terry is really an exceptional dog-sitter. Our dog got all her attention and care. And we’ve been receiving fully updated, detailed Jackie’s visit notes followed by pictures and videos. Thank you very much, Terry!
My cat returned to stay with Terry while we visited family. It was a longer stay this time so my cat had more time to get comfortable and feel like exploring in Terry's room. Terry gave her lots of attention so I know it was a good visit. A much better choice than options we chose to use previous times.
Terry was and is an angel that was sent in my desperate need. I had contacted Terry in the middle of the night because my original sitter quit on me when I had landed in Mexico. She took great care of my puppy and keep me updated! She took a a weight of my shoulders!!!!
Thank you Terry for looking after my cat. You gave regular updates as she got used to different surroundings. I was confident with all your previous fostering experience that your home would be a good fit for Charcoal and it was. I really appreciate your help.

Safety, trust & environment
Your furbaby will be treated as a family member with their safety as number 1 priority. I have a fenced yard, and I have crates if needed. My dogs are friendly, but I keep them separated from newer or visiting dogs. In the house, I have rooms separated by gates. So a visiting furbaby would be in the living room mostly. If I go out and work, I let them out with me to run the yard (once adjusted) or they can be placed in an outdoor kennel to enjoy some fresh air. In the yard, I use beneficial nemotodes and diatomaceous earth in the yard, no poisons. In a new environment, when I let dogs out back, I keep them on a leash or put in one of the kennels until I feel they are comfortable enough to run the yard, but with supervision. No foster or visiting dog has been left outside alone. In transferring the furbabies from home to vehicle, I always double leash. In a client's home, I would be the same with them as I am with my own furbabies.

A typical day
No day is the same. A lot depends on weather, and how we feel. Bones to chew, toys to play with, and balls to chase.

Availability
Retirement allows me to be home most of the time (including holidays) so your furbaby would fit right in with my schedule. I go out usually a couple times a month which can be scheduled when I am free. Therefore, I have time to pamper your furbaby.
