Pet care experience
I have had pets my entire life. I grew up with dogs and cats as a kid. As a teenager, I helped train our two chocolate labs and take care of our three cats at home. I have been through several dog training programs and classes throughout those years and in recent years with my dog, Daisy. I love animals and get along great with them. I am very good at handling dogs and different their types of energies. My girlfriend and I love taking our dog to the dog park (more often when we lived in Logan square), Daisy gets along great with everyone and everything.

I have a small house that is very dog friendly, we have one of our own that is open to sharing her space. I have a good-sized, fenced-in yard with plenty of room to run around. There are some small trees and bushes in the yard for shade. I also have a very small doggy pool if your dog likes water. My dog, Daisy, loves company and making new friends, she tends to match the energy of whoever she is playing with. We also have plenty of treats, toys, balls, and games inside for the doggos.

Things I would like to know: Does your dog get along with other dogs? Is your dog high energy, possessive, protective, jealous or aggressive? Does your dog need any special precautions or have specific procedures they follow? What type of language do you use for obedience with your dog? Is there anything that triggers your dog? Or anything else you find necessary for me to know.
A typical day
Typically, I take my dog daisy for a walk or play with her for a while in the yard as soon as I get home from work, around noon. It has been built into our daily routines now. I also take daisy for another walk or roller blade ride in the afternoon. I would do the same with visiting dogs (not rollerblading). We have several parks near by that we like to visit on our walks, as well as a cemetery with deer often standing around. At home, I love the play fetch and other games with the dogs in the yard.

Availability
I am currently working part time teaching summer school in park ridge, so I have plenty of time in my day to make bathroom visits, take walks, and hangout with our little friends. I work from 8-12 Monday through Friday, but I am not usually in town for the weekends during the summer.
