Pet care experience
Long before I became a dog mom myself, I dog and house sat for my friends, family and neighbors. This in combination with becoming a dog parent provided me with the experience necessary to care for furry children of all kinds, sizes and temperaments. I have experience administering oral/eye medication and bathing and walking dogs as well as know a fair bit of enrichment activities. As a pet parent myself, my goal is to make my clients feel at ease because I know how nerve-wrecking it can be traveling without your furry babies.

Your pup has the added bonus of being safe and cozy in their own home while I make sure all their needs are met in your absence. Because I work from home full-time I have a very flexible schedule. I find that sitting in my client’s home is the least disruptive to a pet’s routine and helps them manage their anxiety while giving them time to get comfortable with a new person in their space!

What are some of your pets quirks, special needs and do they prefer to cuddle or sleep independently? Do you crate train? Do you have a specific routine you need me to follow? Are they shy or nervous? Does it take them a while to warm up to people? Are they leash reactive on walks?
A typical day
I like to ensure dogs are comfortable, their needs are met and that they get the attention they deserve. I like to prioritize mental stimulation and am happy to provide lick mats, sniff and training centered short walks. I like to take pups on walks in the evenings (not in the summer months unless I have your approval to do so given extreme temps). I also like to allocate 15-20 minutes at various windows to provide your pup with cuddles, pets or play.

I currently work from home and am flexible so your pet will have company while you’re away; because I live on the Air Force base, I am primarily offering drop ins and dog sitting in your home. I come to you, whenever you need!
