I will love each animal like they were my own.
Pet care experience
I will love each animal like they were my own. They become my adopted fur babies whilst with me. I have always loved animals, growing up with dogs and cats. More recently I had two lovely Bichon frisée who we lost to old age a few years ago. I’ve since become the doggy day care for a few different friends when they go on holiday or need a helping hand to cover work and family needs. Since recently joining Rover, I have enjoyed meeting and caring for some new fur babies, this has been both a privilege and positive experience. I’d love to welcome your dog into my family when you need doggy care!

If our boys could speak they would say “again, again”!! They had a lovely weekend of love , attention and the very best of care. In your calm and warm environment they thrive. It’s a great boost to their confidence and independence when they spend time with you Terri. We are happy on our break knowing they are safe and happy. Thank you so much. 😊🐾🐾
2nd time Terri has looked after our dogs and they have such a fantastic time. They were extremely happy to see her, well looked after and enjoyed some fantastic walks and cuddles. Couldn’t ask for a better service.
This was the first time I had left my puppy with anybody outside of family and it was a fantastic experience. Terri is absolutely in love with dogs and my puppy loved her. Terri sent photos, videos and updates throughout the day. On arrival Terri had dotted a few treats on the floor so my puppy was instantly taken! I don't think she noticed I had left. I would highly recommend Terri and I will definitely be seeing her again.
Terri’s knowledge of dogs and their behaviors, her warmth, and willingness to care about our dogs details are incredible. Our dogs haven’t been boarded for sometime, yet immediately upon entering Terri’s home our pups were put at ease, and that’s exactly how they remained upon pick up. Thank you Terri you truly have woofy wings!

While in my care, our home will become your dogs home! They are allowed and free to explore the house and very secure garden which they can roam in as they please. We have a small ramp into the garden for dogs that need a little help. The longest I would normally leave a dog would be 1-1.5 hours, while I pop to my gym class or to the shop. Where possible, I like to arrange a quick meet up before fully confirming the booking so that you and your pet can meet me and feel confident about the stay. I also like to get a short information form completed, so that I can know all the important things about your pet before you go on holiday or to work. I will send you regular photos and updates. I can do pick up for daycare/overnight or holiday boarding at my house or drop into your home for walks, provide your pooch some company or complete feeding visits. For visits to your home, if you live further than 5 miles from me, I may need to amend the booking and add a small fee for fuel. Unfortunately, I can’t take heavily moulting dogs for care in my home due to family allergies. I can however do any drop in visits and walk them from your home. I am very responsible and trustworthy. I am registered with Fareham Borough Council Registration number BOES/24714/1 to home board dogs. My home and policies were inspected in January 2023. I have completed my Pet First Aid course Feb 2023. I have my DBS and public liability insurance and will always put the welfare of your dog first.

Any health issues. How long your dog is happy on its own and the routine you follow prior to leaving them. The dietary requirements and type of treats usually given. Special words used for toileting, encouraging them to walk to heel and at my pace or for returning balls during play. Any additional special requirements or challenging behaviours I need to be aware of. If house trained or if this is work in progress.
A typical day
Your precious pooch will have lots of attention during the day. We are surrounded by lovely walks. I love to visit a variety of places to ensure there is always somewhere new to explore and stimulate your furry friend. Walks are mainly away from roads, length of walks are adjusted in consideration of the dogs age and health. Usually, I walk a minimum 3 miles or more during each walk with able dogs. My priority is your pets safety and happiness. I would always adapt my walks to suit your dogs needs. If an older dog visits with mobility issues the walks can be kept very short and slow, just keeping their joints moving a little and providing the much-needed stimulation of great smells to explore and lots of cuddles. Enrichment activities are fun to enjoy together during the day. We can play ball games and work to reinforce the games you play with your pooch at home. This is particurly beneficial for younger dogs still learning.

I have a flexible and friendly approach so please contact me to discuss requirements. I will try my best to accommodate any needs. To be honest - if I have a pet, their welfare becomes my weekly routine! I am retired other than some light working from home tasks and popping out to the odd gym class or shopping. When boarding I aim to just have one booking at a time (this could be 1 or 2 dogs from one house) I would consider more than one dog at a time providing the dogs were sociable with other dogs and both owners and I were happy. This is most likely to be because it’s a cross over day. I am happy to use your crate in my home, if you have or are crate training your dog.
