I worked in a dog rescue and boarding kennel for over 2 years. This allowed me to experience many different situations involving caring for multiple dogs, different breeds of dogs, training dogs, caring for wounds and learning how to handle emergency situations. I also learned how to observe dogs and "read their minds". A dog's body language and behavior often tells us exactly what they want or need. Having been exposed to so many different types of dogs in different environments and situations has given me the ability to care for dogs in a more understanding way. I can often help dog owners understand issues they've been perplexed by or help with training. I care for each dog as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pup(s).

Terri walks our dog twice a week, and is very reliable. Not only does she provide exercise and companionship for our Rebel, but she also works with him and has gotten him to stop pulling on his leash. Before Terri, he'd get so distracted by other dogs, cats and cars that walking him was quite a challenge. After just a month of training we're enjoying our walks with Rebel again. We can't thank Terri enough!
We had never used Terri as our sitter; however ended up hiring her last minute for an overnight stay to watch our fur baby. I was so nervous to use a new sitter, especially for an overnight stay vs just a few hours; however my fear turned quickly into a feeling of calmness and security. Our babygirl has been through alot in her life; therefore requires more attention/care than most pets. Terri came to our home, took care of our baby as if she was her own, sent us photos and provided us with regular updates throughout her stay. I was very impressed. Also, our baby only allows a few people into her life - most people she simply doesn't trust and doesn't want to get near them... however our baby truly loved Terri. Again I was impressed. I would very much love to hire Terri again in the future as I know my babygirl will be in good hands no matter if I'm gone a few hours or a few days. Thanks Terri!
Teri is the best dog sitter and trainer we have ever had! We have a very high energy Goldendoodle an Labrodoodle that are 70 lbs. and 90 lbs. She walked the dogs twice daily and let them out in the backyard other times of the day. She spent the night with them and I wouldn't have even known that she was here. The house was just as we left it. They are better behaved dogs when we returned and she also came back when we got home to train us on how to handle them. Teri is very knowledgeable with how dogs think. I would will always be happy to have here care for our dogs. Teri will not disappoint you, hire her! I give her five stars!
Terri has cared for our 4 dogs on numerous occasions - sometimes for hours and sometimes for days. She does a great job of watching over them, giving them attention, keeping them in their normal routines and giving us peace of mind while away from our pups. As an owner of greyhounds, I appreciate the fact that she has greyhounds herself and understands some of the nuances and oddities of the breed. Plus, I figure if my 3-legged mutt (who doesn't trust many people) loves her, that's the best review she can get.
