Pet care experience
My husband and I recently returned to our home state of Oregon. We are now retired and when we are in town I enjoy providing pet sitting services. We currently have a 4 year old dachshund mix and a 9 month old mystery mix. Our dogs are part of our family and are well loved. I have been around animals most my life including horses, cows, chickens, pigs, etc. Your dog would receive daily walks appropriate for their age with lots of love included. Your cat will receive plenty of attention! I enjoy drop ins but will pet/house sit depending on availability. I am very flexible to owner needs including giving medication and pics of dogs and cats texted to you throughout the day. I have cared for other animals such as cats, pigs and horses and have excellent references available for pet and house sitting including watering gardens and yards. Many of my clients are not related to Rover and additional references can be given upon request for your peace of mind.

Terri is simply the best! Terri walked my two dogs regularly for the last two years until we moved out of the area, as well as provided several overnight stays. She also cared for my elderly cat and administered her medicine. Terri is so kind and thoughtful with all the animals and always made sure they were well taken care of, often going above and beyond to make sure the dogs had a fun and engaging time with her. She is mindful, thoughtful and flexible. I was able to count on Terri 100%, and sometimes with short notice - she is a great communicator and always wants what is best for the client and animals. I wish I could’ve taken Terri with us to our new neighborhood!
Terri has taken care of our Maybelle for several years. When she cares for Maybelle she gives us regular updates, she takes her on walks everyday, and treats her like part of the family. We are so fortunate to have found Terri, because we trust her completely! We love Terri!
Terri was my dog walker for 2 years while I lived in Corvallis. We moved away last summer and miss her so much. There isn’t a single person in the world that I trust to care for my dogs more than Terri. She was always on time, kept my home and the dogs clean, took my dogs for full and enriching walks, and made sure to keep them safe at all times. They have dietary restrictions and behavioral issues and she always followed my directions regarding those. My dogs took to her friendly and gentle nature immediately. She cares deeply about animals and treats them with the respect they deserve. I would make the 2 hour drive to Corvallis just to have her care for them again in the future.
Terri was AMAZING with our dog, Alex. She made sure he got plenty of exercise and snuggles, sent us daily updates, and asked great questions before our trip. Highly, highly recommend.

What is energy level of your dog? Does your dog have any habits I need to be aware of for his safety and well being? Is the dog crate trained? Can the dog be left on his or her own while running errands or attending appointments? For house sitting assignments I leave your home for a period of time during the day. Depending on your pet’s needs, I leave around 10 and return between 4 and 5. Your home is always cared for as it were my own. No breed preference but do love dachshunds and pit bulls. I often care for cats on a drop in or house sitting basis. Is your cat social, like to play and receive plenty of attention? Drop ins fees for multiple cats are same as for one cat. Will care for horses or farm animals on house sitting or drop in basis. Prices vary depending on commitment level.
A typical day
I am open to caring for other animals at your home such as horses, farm animals, cats, per pigs, etc Rates will vary depending on committment level. We walk daily in all types of weather. Dogs not up to long walks receive a walk modified to meet the dogs needs. During hot weather we walk early and are near water. Generally, drop ins last from 30 to 40 minutes and include a short walk for dogs and lots of attention for cats. The number of drop ins that can be done per day vary depending on daily commitments. Generally, drop ins can be done 1 to 3 times per day depending on your required times. Please inquire for availability!

Availability
I am retired and am able to accommodate morning walks. Am usually able to accomodate various feeding schedules. Most dogs I care for receive multiple walks a day unless they are not able to do so. However, It should be noted I do not stay at your home the entire day. Your pet/s will receive a lot of attention and love while they are in my care.
