I’m so excited that you’ve found my profile! I LOVE all furchildren! I have had dogs and cats in my life since before I was born. I believe they are a gift and should be treated as such, all the time, under every circumstance. I share my home with my sister and canine nephew, a golden/cocker rescue (he passed over the Bridge 1/3/22 but I can’t bare to remove him from this listing). Our house has been called ‘Disneyland’ for pups many times over the years with many preferring to stay than go home. We love them, respect them and try 100% of the time to read their minds and meet not only their needs but their every desire barring anything dangerous. My profile picture is with the love of my life, Tucker, who went to heaven October 10, 2016, the day my heart broke irreparably. Despite the ever present need in the world for pets to be rescued, I have been emotionally unable to become momma again so I’d love to give all my attention and love to your boy or girl! My experience includes being canine cpr & first aid certified as well as many varying non-professional medical treatments (giving meds, shots, dialysis & physical therapy) & minor training (only positive reinforcement). We basically read dog minds and speak dog; plus we have an inground pool (monitored play only). I will treat your baby as if he/she were my own in every way! I work part time remotely so I can be with your babes 24/7. In addition to the background check done by this site, I have passed the back ground checks done by financial institutions and the TN real estate board.

Teri is wonderful with our two fur babies. She takes care of our house well and makes sure the dogs are looked after well. We are sad when she is not available to take care of our doggies, but she is busy because everyone else wants her to take care of their dogs!
Teri exceeds all my expectations for a conscientious pet-sitter. She pays great attention to details and goes the extra mile to ensure the pets are safe and feel loved. I had 4 senior dogs when Teri started sitting with them while I was out-of-town. They each had a multitude of medical issues and pills to take. I knew that with Teri they would get the same quality of care they would if I was home with them. Teri is just all-around an excellent pet-sitter that I would recommend without reservation!!
I found my “unicorn” pet sitter when I found Teri. She is AMAZING. Not only does she stay over at my house but she is loving and very experienced with senior dogs who have special needs. She is experienced in dispensing meds AND administering daily subcutaneous fluids which my senior girl, Hazel, had to have due to her kidney disease. Teri always makes me feel like everything is in good, capable, loving hands when I have to travel and my pup can’t come with me. She is the BEST!!!!

We have a privacy fenced yard and our home is 100% animal friendly including furniture and beds. We do have a pool if they like to swim. It was originally installed primarily for the loves of our lives, our canine children, who we painfully have had to let pass on. If we sit swimmers or non-swimmers, they are never alone in the yard without human supervision. In your home, I maintain your schedule and treat your home as if I were a guest at a friend’s. I have the upmost respect for other peoples’ spaces. No one will be in your home but me.

I love all dogs! And cats and birds. I sit for a Macaw frequently. I’ve just had to erase the details I had included for getting along with Cooper, my canine nephew, because we had to let him pass on in January.
A typical day
I would be thrilled to go on walks and with extra permission would take your baby on car rides or hiking or to the Bark Park if you are members (while ‘regular’ dog parks are wonderful in theory I would never take a doggie that wasn’t mine to a dog park -for their protection) and we have an inground swimming pool within our privacy fenced back yard that we put in for the dogs so if they wish to swim on warm days they are encouraged. All time in the back yard is supervised so there are no accidents.
