I've been around animals all of my life. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters. As an adult, I've rarely been without a pet. I had two cats for 17 years that I loved dearly, and now I have a 9 year old Bernadoodle that believes all kids, adults, and other dogs were put on this earth to love and play with her! She's super friendly and social, and gets along well with all dogs. I am married and have two children, a six year old boy and a 7 year old girl, all of whom love dogs. My daughter wants to grow up to be a dog walker/boarder herself one day. We have a fenced in yard and live in a great neighborhood with lots of dog-loving people, within walking distance of a dog park as well as walking trails. We spend more time on the trails than at the park, but we can do whichever your pet prefers when he/she is with us. We're typically home on the weekends, unless we're out playing or walking with the kids and our dog, and your dog would of course be included in these outings. Your dog will have full access to our entire home, but we prefer no pets on the beds or furniture. The only exception to that is a couch in the playroom that is pet-friendly. We encourage you to bring your dog's bed/crate or whatever makes him/her comfortable at night. The dogs will be allowed to sleep in our room for comfort if they'd like. We promise to send updates and photos while you're away so that you can see how much fun your dog is having!
