I do work during the day. I have a large backyard and 2 dogs that get a long with all dogs. I can stop by during the day since I work close by my home and check on well being and water. I work 9:00am-5:00pm. My dogs are inside during this heat so if your dog can be inside without tearing up furniture then they are welcome:) I have owned all different dogs from Great Danes to a Cocker Spaniels. Right now I own a boxer and a Dachshund mix and they are very social with other dogs. My Boxer (Ruger) is 1 year old and my Dachshund mix (Boozer) is 3 years old. I had a Great Dane before my current dogs. She died about 2 years ago of old age.
