Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Tess! I’ve been taking care of family pets for 30+ years. I love dogs and have a lot of experience with larger breeds. Specifically Labs, Vizslas and Retrievers. However, I have experience with other breeds too. I have been walker on Rover since 2018. I currently have an 8 year old Vizsla & we have been together her whole life. Also, we recently lived with a Golden Retriever for 3 years. I enjoy being outside and long walks/runs. I also work remotely and have a flexible schedule. I would love to help you take care of your dog in difficult times to ensure they are healthy & happy! I love dogs & staying active too! I so can’t wait to love & meet your Furry loved one!

Tess did a wonderful job watching our 10 month old dog while we were away! She was our first experience with Rover, and we were so lucky to have her! She was very thorough and detailed in asking questions beforehand and checking with us throughout the stay to make sure she was taking care of Theo how we normally would. Tess provided frequent thorough updates about Theo throughout his stay with her that we looked forward to appreciated very much. Theo absolutely LOVED staying with Tess and her dog Lucy. Theo is a puppy and pretty high energy, and Tess made sure to get him all the exercise and playtime he needed. Theo and Lucy are now best friends, and we will definitely be using Tess in the future if she is available. I highly recommend Tess.
Teresa took excellent care of our miniature dachshunds while we had to be away from home through the workday. Her updates were thorough, informative and fun! Our dogs love her and we hope to have her again in the future!

A typical day
I love to take dogs to new areas/parks/trails. The Twin Cities has so many parks, lakes and trails to explore! However, I’ll take and walk any suggested routes! Also, if I pop in for a visit, I’ll also play & find other unique ways to help burn doggy calories and ensure they have a bathroom break.

Availability
As I mentioned above, I work remotely and have a flexible schedule. Rover doesn't tell you when I potentially have a time conflict or other rover commitments. It only tells you if I'm available during the day. Please be prepared to change your selected time by 15-30 minutes potentially. I love being active, being around dogs, and walking! I would love nothing more than to help you during a conflict of providing the best care to your pup!
