I've work in the animal industry as a kennel attendant, personal caretaker, pet therapy certified, animal educator with Philadelphia Zoo and have had several types of pet including large birds, small rodents, lizards and sugar gliders! At this time I have 2 yorkies, 2 goldens, 3 cats and 2 small birds. Future plans for the goldens is to complete pet therapy certification. I have a single level home with a privacy fence, good size yard. Yard is picked up daily and treated quarterly or more if needed. My home is equipped with a large dog door so the dogs can go out as often as they want. We are a working couple, but our work schedules are opposite, leaving someone home 90% or more each day. I treat my pets as family with lots of love and attention. We do crate our youngest puppy for his safety at night and when nobody is home, the others have free range and able to come and go as needed out dog door. We feed twice daily and community walks. One of the favorite pastimes is morning coffee on the porch while the pups play outside, taking turns getting brushed.
