I quit a stressful profession a few years ago to start living my values, and valuing animals with the loving care they deserve gives me great joy and profound purpose. I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for 35+ years, and I have varied experience, from working with lively puppies and kittens up through senior care. I have loved (and received much love from) many dogs and cats of varying personalities and needs. I have my own menagerie at home and rarely get as much joy as I do caring for my dogs and cats.

Teresa is so wonderful! She is a true animal lover and will care for your pets as if they’re her own. We always feel at ease knowing our pup is getting a good walk/play session with Teresa while we’re away at work. She communicates well and has been very flexible to work with changes to scheduling needs. I can’t recommend her enough!!

I have multiple years experience training young pups and caring for older dogs, giving meds, massages, and appropriate exercise. I have given shots, meds, and fluids to sick animals, and cared for animals recovering from trauma, medical procedures, and those that are dying. I’m also a devoted cat lover who’s read up on cat behavior and understands their primal need for a safe environment and building trust. I’m adaptable based on the animal’s needs, not my own.

A typical day
I am an avid walker and love to go with dog company! I can take your dog to a local park for playtime or just for a jaunt around the neighborhood. I have experience with reluctant walkers as well as those doggies who have the energy to pull a chariot down the street! Most importantly, I know how to keep dogs safe while walking.
