Need someone to walk/exercise and train your dog with basic commands or cute tricks? I would love to help you and any 4 legged members of your family reach your goals. I've just recently fulfilled a life long dream by becoming a CCDT. I am a recent graduate of the Masters Course through Catch Canine Trainers Academy. I volunteer at the Hawaiian Humane Society as a Adoptions Staff Assistant and Dog Walker/Runner 2 days a week and am also a volunteer one day a week at the Hawaii Kai Dog Park assisting with Owner Mediation, clean up and maintenance. I am well versed in canine communication, learning theory - involving classical and operant conditioning as well as safe and effective handling of dogs for shelters, day cares and training situations.I am also familiar with basic health routines and disease prevention. I would love to meet your dog to build upon a positively reinforced and wonderful stimulating relationship.

Theresa has been working with my 5 year old miniature labradoodle, Lucy, for the last year. I must say it is the highlight of Lucy's week. Theresa both walks with her and does some training. I first witnessed Theresa in a class, working with another dog and was amazed by her gentleness and the responsiveness of the dog she was working with. It is obvious that Theresa loves and respects dogs and their owners. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind and responsible. Lucy is like my child and I would not just let anyone spend time with her. I recommend Theresa, without hesitation, to anyone who appreciates a great person with a wonderful connection with animals and and a large base of canine knowledge. Lucy never leaves the front window on Thursdays when I hang out her green leash and harness and tell her "Today your SPECIAL FRIEND is coming!"

She always has a positive attitude, is loving, trustworthy and developed a very strong bond with Luke very quickly. She doesn't just walk or babysit -- she trains him as well! She exposes him to many environments for his development and growth, such as the beach, shopping mall or the dog park. She takes the time to keep us up-to-date with his progress and behavior. Teresa has a genuine passion and love for animals.
