Pet care experience
I currently am employed as a Veterinarian technician/ supervisor And volunteer at a shelter. For the past few years I have fostered for a rescue and in all fostered over 30 dogs. I have a lot of experience with bully breeds, personally and through rescue. Im not only a huge animal lover, but between fostering, rescue, working as a vet tech at an animal hospital, and school I have a lot of knowlegede and experience with animals, along with my natural compassion and love for them. I understand how stressful it can be to find someone you trust to watch or even walk your fur babies, and finding someone not only compassionate but with knowledge and experience isnt always easy, but if that's what youre looking for I can assure you I qualify in all 3 of those areas :).

Teresa was great with our 5-year-old black lab! She was very communicative prior to and during the visit, sending multiple updates a day. We knew Theo had a great time and felt right at home, sleeping on her couches and playing with all her dog toys! We will definitely be using her again in the future.
Teresa is amazing! This was the first time leaving our 10 month old Goldendoodle Lola. We were super super nervous and anxious leaving her. As soon as we met Teresa we were instantly relieved. We knew Lola was in good hands. Throughout our trip, she would send us messages and cute pictures. We thought Lola was going to be anxious but she was the complete opposite. Lola was so happy and smiling in the pictures. It truly feels like she takes care of them like her very own. Our dog pulls a lot on the leash and has some puppy quirks so we thought she was going to be a little bit difficult but she assured us she has worked with many different dog breeds and temperament. She has a lot of experience between fostering dogs, being a vet tech, and petsitting. She will also work around your schedule for drop off and pick up. Overall she is so amazing. We will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!
We had a wonderful experience with Teresa. Its been years since my husband and I have been able to take a vacation. Our last pet sitter, an older gentleman, passed away a few years ago and we have been worried about trying to find someone new to care for our two elderly indoor cats, our parrot, and the feral cat that stops by for food and water. To complicate matters, one of our indoor cats requires medication twice a day. Teresa handled it all perfectly and kept us updated with texts and photos. It was very reassuring and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing that our babies were in good hands!
Teresa has watched my little pittie Dazey twice now and she was AWESOME both times!! Dazey has urinary incontinence (she leaks/drips urine as she walks/sits/plays) so she needs extra care when it comes to cleaning, keeping her dry, the occasional diaper change and frequent bathroom trips. Teresa, knowing that Dazey had to go to the bathroom frequently, moved her work schedule around so she could provide her with frequent bathroom breaks. She did an awesome job of administering Dazey’s medicine for her incontinence too. Teresa is really knowledgeable when it comes to dogs and pitts especially, she gave us so many helpful tips for training Dazey and treat recommendations (we just adopted Dazey two months ago) :) Dazey LOVES her big yard and large toy selection. Dazey also can be a little anxious at times so whenever we drop Dazey off she takes her on a walk right away, which always helps so much! Teresa sends me pictures and videos all the time and in every one of the pics Dazey is a smiley girl. Lets just say Ill be planning any trips around when Teresa can watch Dazey!!!

I like owners to be honest about their pets behaviors, both good and problem areas. I am really good with dogs that may have issues (guarding, aggression, high energy, anxiety, ect) but I always appreciate being told instead of having to figure it out myself.
A typical day
I love walking not only my own dogs but clients dogs as well. Walks are great for not only exercise, but also bonding, and as long as the walk is controlled it's also great for focus and mental stimulation. I enjoy going different routes so the dogs I am walking don't get bored and I like to make them fun by having them do basic commands and rewarding them for good behavior :). I love playing fetch or with a "flirt pole" and I make it fun by rewarding them during activities, not with a bunch of treats but with positive reinforcement :). A tired dog is a happy dog!! I also do not mind animals on my furniture, however I do not let your pets on it if you do not allow It.
