Enchanting K9 Kingdom

Pet care experience

I am a dog lover who has had dogs most of my life. Nothing makes me happier than a happy dog! I currently have a 3 year old Chocolate Lab, Kelly, and her 6 month old puppy KJ (Kelly Jr!) who both LOVE to play with other dogs. Your dog will be considered one of the family and will have instant sisters with Kelly & KJ! I work from home, so other than occasional errands I will be home giving your dogs good attention and care. Our house sits on a gorgeous 6 acres of land with a pond and lots of grass and trees, so your pup will have plenty of room to run around. The yard has a 750 sq ft fenced in area, as well as a 60 ft dog run. All outdoor time will be supervised. We crate our dog when we leave the house, so it is preferred that guest dogs also be crated unless you are confident that they will be calm and non-destructive when left home alone. I live with my fiance, and his 2 boys (ages 11 and 16) are here a few days each week. I sometimes do rely on my fiance to take care of the dogs, and it’s always nice to have an extra hand here and there. Although I don’t task the kids with any responsibilities, they will love to play with the pups as much as they will allow it! We’re a very loving household that really enjoys bringing new pups into the family. Your puppy prince or princess will be treated like royalty at our K9 Kingdom! NOTE ON RATES: All boarding reservations are for 24 hour periods. There is a 4 hour grace period on pick-up day, otherwise a $15 fee will be charged for that day (additional dogs = $10 fee). EXAMPLE: you drop your dog off for the weekend (Fri-Sun) at 2:00pm on Friday. Until 2:00pm Saturday would be the 1st 24-hour period, and until 2:00pm Sunday would be the 2nd 24-hour period. You would have 4 hours past 2:00pm on Sunday (i.e. 6:00pm) to pick up your dog at no extra charge, otherwise a flat $15 fee will be charged for Sunday. I offer a 10% discount on stays of a week or longer (7 or more nights). I also offer discounts for additional dogs (2nd dog = $25 per night; 3rd dog =$20 per night). For Daycare: Hourly daycare charge is $4/hour, with a minimum of 3 hours. Max you can be charged for a day is $24 (9 hours max). 1-3 hours = $12 4 hours = $16 5 hours = $20 6-9 hours = $24

Super sitter for sure. My Sally is in good hands so I know she's well taken care of. She comes home tired so I know she's been busy having a super time.

Information Teresa L. would like to know about your pet

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Does your dog have any destructive tendencies? If you have a male dog, are they neutered? (Our female lab is not spayed, so we may need to decline non-neutered males at certain times of the year) Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?

A typical day

We also love to stay active, so exercise will be a big part of every stay. I like to do one walk around our property in the mornings (about 1/2 mile), then a longer walk in the development behind our property in the afternoons. We’ll take several walks around the property per day, so there’s always at least a few half-mile jogs in throughout the day in order to stay happy and healthy. I also like to take my dog for a walk to Black Creek park at least once a week, so your dog may get the pleasure of that as well! If your pup is good with jogging, we’ll make sure to go for a run, but I’m happy to meet your pup at their level no matter where it is. We’re also always happy to snuggle up together and catch up on some reading or Netflix!
