Pet care experience
We've owned dogs since we were children, and now are raising our own as adults! Dogs are family and will be treated as such. We have two playful dogs who enjoy company in their backyard! We have a half-acre of fenced backyard that stretches back farther than we can throw a ball! Our home has a doggy door so they can come and go as they please. A small dog pool is available for hot days!

The backyard is fenced with a doggy door into the house. We try to teach dogs how to use the doggy door within their first few hours of being here so they can come and go as they'd like! We supervise throughout the day.

Due to the nature of the openness of our home and backyard, we only accept dogs that are friendly with other dogs. We also cannot accept dogs that are escape artists, anxious, have incontinence, or mark inside the house. We have experience with a range of disabilities and are happy to administer any medicine/special diets as needed if given clear instructions.
A typical day
We LOVE to play in our big backyard! We do fetch, have a small splash pool for them, and do training. Our dogs even enjoy just making laps in the backyard, watching the neighbor's cattle, and chasing any squirrels to the many trees we have on the property! All dogs are allowed everywhere in the home as well, including the furniture, so if your pup would rather chill on the couch in the air-conditioning, we're happy to let them do that too! We like to keep dogs mentally entertained, so training and dog puzzles are also used throughout the day.

Availability
Gary is a student at OSU and Teresa works part-time. Dogs are indoors when we aren't. Dogs will need to be able to go about 4 hours without breaks. When we are home the doggy door is open and available for them to go inside and outside as they please!
