Pet care experience
I've been a lifelong volunteer for dog and cat rescue groups, like PAW and most recently with LCAS. I'm also a pet owner and a pet sitter for a local professional pet sitting service. I love animals of all kinds and have cared for many; from different breeds of dogs, to cats, to small animals like hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, turtles, to birds, and more. I have experience with countless breeds of dogs, love both the gentle giants as well as the little ones. Since I have a family, for boarding, the gentle quiet ones are much preferred.

Teresa took great care of our English Cream Retriever. She sent photos so we could see that he was getting settled in. He is very nervous and shakes during thunderstorms, but Teresa made sure he was getting extra attention during the storms. Our dog felt comfortable with Teresa and followed her around like he does when he is home. He loves & needs to be close to people! Thanks for taking great care of our boy!
Teresa was very helpful with our dog Howie! She took pictures and updated us how every walk went. Will contact her again for dog care and would recommend.

Please let me know how your pet is with new people; and with other dogs. I would also like to know how he/she sleeps at night. A few must haves for boarding dogs: • non-aggressive • vaccinated w/ core vaccines (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, etc.) • house trained, not dependent on pee pads
A typical day
We live in a three-level townhome with a small shaded fenced backyard. When your dog stays with us, she/he will take part in our daily life, hang out with us while we cook, join us for TV time, be part of any family/friend gatherings, go on walks, etc. We have plenty of sidewalks and trails around. I can go for long or shorter walks. And if your dog, like mine, just likes to lay around, that's fine too, she/he will have company :)

Availability
I am available every Friday through Monday, including major holidays for boarding or day care. For your convenience, drop-off and pick-up for boarding can be done on Thursdays and Tuesdays as well - My husband will be home all day and I will be home in the early evening the rest of the week.
