I am a Recreation Leader for The City of Los Altos. I’m also training for my first IRONMAN triathlon. I am doing ROVER to supplement my income by doing something I love. I love and have always had dogs. All of my dogs have been family members who I not only loved dearly but respected. I have personally trained all my dogs. My angel of 18 years, Jessica passed away October 31, 2019. She was my first small dog. All my previous dogs have been large dogs. For example: Doberman, German shepherd, and Rottweiler. I have taken care of friends dogs in the past with success. I have enjoyed taking care of fur babies through ROVER for over a five years. Let's build a relationship that will benefit your dog. Teresa did an amazing job looking after our dog and two cats while we went away! Our isn’t the easiest and she was wonderful with him. I really appreciate her professionalism and love of animals. She made us feel better about going out of town when we knew Teresa was looking after the pets!

Teresa stayed in our home and cared for our 7 year old dog & 3 yo / 15 yo cats for a week, including administering daily meds, walks, and cuddling ! Very happy, as were our pets when we returned.

The pet stays with me most of the time. I will usually walk the dogs twice a day or take them to the dog park. I don't ever leave a dog outside by its lonesome.

I like to know what training the pet has had. What can I expect from the pet? Does he/she walk on leash? Pull? Does it obey sit/stay? Are pets allowed on furniture? Does he/she have any bad habits? Jumping up on people, excessive barking, biting?
A typical day
I like to take dogs to dog parks and let them socialize and run. I have my own CHUCKIT to throw balls. I spend some time teaching them to fetch and return the ball to my hand. I also take time to leash train if needed.

I have a pet turtle that does not accompany me. He has his own self contained habitat. I also work part-time at the Winchester Mystery House giving tours. I am doing ROVER to supplement my income by doing something I love.
