Pet care experience
Now that I have your attention....me either!! (But seriously, I'm not judging if you have). I know that you have the option to choose between hundreds of pet sitters on Rover and I know how important that choice is--these furry guys are your family! First and foremost, I am a dog lover! I've grown up with dogs of all shapes and sizes and truly understand the distinct and unique needs each breed has. There is no "one size fits all" type of dog, and I truly want to be YOUR dog's best friend and get to know them. If he/she needs training, exercise, playtime, dog park visits, or just some love while you are away, I can provide that. I would love to have a dog of my own, my partner Megan and her pup Victor are moving here this summer and we are waiting to adopt together. I love being able to pet sit because it gives me the opportunity to spend time with animals. Please consider me for your next trip away!

Tera was great and friendly! She excercised our energetic pup and sent pictures along with video. I could tell our dog was comfortable during his stay, I would highly recommend her.
I see Tera with dogs (and other animals) on a regular basis, and I must say, I have never seen such a sincere animal lover. One time she called me crying because she saw a stray flock of chickens (she lived in Hawaii) without their mother and she was so worried. She is the most loving, sincere and caring person Ive ever known. Any animal would be in terrific, capable, caring hands and arms with her!!

A typical day
We live right across the street from a huge dog park that always seems to be busy! Our apartment is very pet friendly and we have a large grassy area right outside of our back door. We also live on the Potomac bike trail, so there are opportunities for long walks and runs. For a small additional fee, I can also take time to teach your puppy basic obedience commands (sit, stay, lay down, shake) and help potty or leash train.
