Pet care experience
In addition to caring for my family dogs whilst growing up in New Zealand, I have gained valuable experience with dogs of different breeds, age, size and temperament by fostering for a local animal shelter in New York City. Your dog would have the company of myself, my partner and my roommate if staying at our apartment which is located in West Village. Alternatively, my partner and I can care for your pup at your place. We will ensure that your dog is walked at least 3-4 times per day and can also go to the local dog park if requested. You can rest assured that your dog will be treated with the care that she/he deserves. I am available for walks/drops ins on weekdays and boarding/house sitting 7 days a week. Please note: for boarding, drop off and pick up must be between the hours of 8am and 9pm. Boarding is for periods of 24 hours. Late pick ups can be arranged for an additional rate (the overnight rate will be pro rated).

Teneessee watched our toy yorkie McAlister for 7 days while we were out of town. We are new to New York and had never used Rover before but she was great, meeting us in person first so we felt comfortable and so McAlister got a chance to get to know her as well. She did a fantastic job of keeping us updated throughout the week along with great daily pictures of McAlister. A good friend of ours dropped off McAlister and Teneesse was great coordinating directly with him. When we picked up McAlister he was so happy and excited to see us, it was obvious that he had been well cared for the entire time. We will definitely leave McAlister with Tennessee the next time we go away!
Tennessee watched our dog Bailey while we were out of town for 5 days over July 4 and I cannot recommend her more highly! Tennessee was quick to respond to my inquiry and was super accommodating when I wanted to set up a meet-and-greet before booking and then later needed to revise the dates of our trip and arrange for a late pick up. While we were away, Tennessee kept us updated with daily pictures and texts about how Bailey was doing and responded quickly when I had questions about how Bailey (a picky eater who does not always do well in new situations) was adjusting. Bailey was happy when we picked her up and had clearly been well cared for. We will definitely reach out to Tennessee again the next time we need a dog sitter!
Tennessee was great for Maurice. We had a meetup before his stay and was very accommodating to his quirky dog self. She sent updates during his stay and kept me informed. It's so nice and comforting to have such great care when I'm out of town for work!
Tennessee was a pleasure to work with and took such good care of Hudson while I was away. She made me feel at ease, especially since I was leaving my puppy for the first time. I will definitely use her again the next time I need someone to watch Hudson.
