We contacted Tedra for initially housesitting then boarding over the holidays. She seemed nice and knowledgeable during our meet and greet. Throughout Nori’s stay the communication was limited and we had to ask for updates almost daily. We didn’t receive any photos because she “didn’t want to be weird” for the first day, although we asked. We (like many other dog owners) keep an AirTag on Nori’s collar and noticed her location looked to be a Motel 6 in Inglewood for the first several days, versus her Venice address provided. Nori was in multiple locations including Inglewood, Culver City, Sawtelle and barely in Venice at Tedra’s address. We specified Nori wasn’t really too keen on other dogs and thought we made it clear the expectation that Nori would be the only Rover dog but I guess there was miscommunication there. Tedra took at least one more Rover in the 12 days and stayed with Nori at the other dogs house. We also made it clear we weren’t comfortable with dog parks (re: dog virus) and when mentioning that she said “well it’s dangerous for me to walk multiple dogs bc I could fall or be hit by a car and so on” even though she noticed Nori didn’t like to be there. When we picked up Nori today she had multiple mats, poop caked on her butt and lots of eye boogers. She smells like a kennel and looks very unkempt. Tedra warned us she may need a bath but we didn’t expect for her to look and smell this bad. When my bf mentioned to Tedra we noticed she wasn’t at her home location at all until pickup she told him to “write a review” so here we are. I wouldn’t book again.

Not organized and takes on too many dogs. She couldn’t find my dog’s leash and said she’d bring it to my house or mail it to me. Didn’t do either and it’s a special leash for people with arthritis and not easy to find. Very disappointed.
