I grew up with two dogs from age 10, and my mom taught me right away how to take on the responsibility of caring for animals! One of my closest friends is a total cat lover and the proud owner of over 100 plants, and I've had the pleasure of caring for all her sweet animal and plant babies on multiple occasions throughout our friendship. Another close friend of mine has a wonderful little family of three cats, a dog, and a small veggie garden, and I love getting to hang out with and care for them when she and her husband are out of town. I've also taken care of my Dad's dog on occasion, as well as another friend's rambunctious kittens and lovely silly dog. Typically when these folks go out of town, I'm housesitting for them anywhere between a few days to a month at a time.
