Our 5-year-old, active, friendly, snuggly Weimaraner Cocoa will be an excellent friend and host to your four-legged friend while you're away! Along with Cocoa, your dog will get walked at least three times daily, including one long off-leash playtime (if your dog is okay off-leash!) at a nearby very dog-friendly park and LOTS of playtime and snuggle time at home. When we're home, the dogs will also have free range of our shared courtyard. We've hosted many dogs in our home and they've always gotten along well with Cocoa and had a wonderful time - we all treat any new dog as a member of our family and our pack. The dogs have total access to our large two-bedroom home, and your best friend will get outside a lot. If he or she stays with us over a weekend and weather permits, we'll hit up nice open parks around the area such as Franklin Mountains State Park or another good hiking/walking spot. We're a barista and an NGO worker, so we'll be home as much as we can while your pup is with us - and we will not leave dogs alone together until we are sure they get along. If your dog needs to be alone or have quiet time, they can be separated through closed doors. We love to travel and understand how important it is to feel good about leaving your friend with others - we will do our best to give your four-legged friend a home-away-from-home while s/he is with us! We can do pick-up/drop-off if you need it, as well as offer dog spa services (i.e., bath time!).
