Pet care experience
My wife and I have for 58 years always had at least one dog as part of our family. Our beloved Westie died this year and we don't want to go through that trauma again at our age; however we miss having a dog to love and care for. That is the main reason we are making ourselves available through Rover Match. Additionally, we have often done dog sitting for our extended family in Chapel Hill and elsewhere.

Ted is wonderful! He is personable, communicative, eager, follows directions, and most importantly, I know my pooch is in a true dog lover’s hands and he is someone I can trust with my most precious belongings.
I have NEVER known ANYONE in the world who would be a better best friend for dogs needing a sitter. He has loved his own dogs better and more than anyone I have ever met. He doesn't just "pet and walk" dogs. He talks, relates and truly communicates with them in a way I don't even understand. This couldn't be a better fit since loosing his beloved Bibi this year. He has so much love to give and it really shows anytime he visits a home where they have dogs. Anyone lucky enough to get Ted to be a best friend sitter for their dog truly HIT THE JACKPOT! I have to imagine he will be in the highest demand. What a PERFECT choice!
Ted is the kindest most loving individual we know. The love and care that he shows for others is unmatchable; as evidenced by his family, friends, our dogs and his devotion to their beloved dog, Bibi, even to her last days.
