Longtime, Avid Cat Lover!
Pet care experience
I have grown up in a cat-loving family and have always had a cat in the house. I pride myself on being able to win over any feline, no matter how shy or scrappy. I am no stranger to administering medication and caring for older animals. I have recently adopted at 70 pound Pit/Boxer mix and he has slowly, but surely converted me into a dog lover! Comfortable with most breeds and completely at ease with being in command of the "pack" -as it were. I love being outdoors, so walks are a welcome addition to the day. I have also cared for birds, fish, and turtles as needed. I can adhere to a strict schedule, or be more flexible depending on your pets needs.
Reviews
Ted’s super easy to communicate with, sends great photos, and gives great walks!
Another lovely walk from Ted!
TED is the BEST!! I have used him twice now and both times my pet was calm and happy. She loves Ted. He is so good with her and so reliable. Thank you Ted
Ted was amazing with our cats! He followed their lead, gained their trust, and now they have a new best friend in him. :)

I will try to integrate seamlessly into your home or schedule. As I said above, I can be as strict or as flexible as you want. Got daily feeding times? Great. Have a usual walking schedule and route? Fantastic. I know animals love a routine and I will do my best to keep it! If they want to explore, that's cool too! I will treat your pet and your space with the same care as my own - nothing is more important to me then being as good as my word!
Information Ted D. would like to know about your pet
Definitely like to know temperament ahead of time and also what triggers they may have. Some dogs are super chill until that one specific scenario comes up, so please don't hesitate to let me know, even if you think it's unlikely to happen. Definitely want to set your pup up for success! Also, let me know how they like to be rewarded. Treats? Hugs? Praise? All of the above?
A typical day
For walks, I can tailor them to your pup's desires. If they prefer socializing we can head down to Fort Funston or Alameda Dog park. If they are a little shier, we can do McClaren Park in SF or perhaps a hike in Joaquin Miller Park in Oakland. If they are small/too young/too old for all that, I have a decent sized backyard where they can sniff around for squirrels or chase a favorite ball. For drop-ins I usually set aside at least ten minutes for petting/scratches and maybe if they know a few tricks we can run through those. I can be a present as they prefer when eating a meal, just let me know!

Availability
I am a working musician, so I have large chunks of time where I am not on the road or in the studio. I have a small SUV with plenty of room for pups and accessories and I don't mind driving to and from clients houses. I commute to San Francisco at least one day a week (on Wednesdays) if your pet loves riding in the car, they are more than welcome to accompany me!
