Being around a dog is a perfect day
Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs my entire life! I currently own a black lab named Lilly who is my absolute best friend! We love going for hikes and playing fetch together. My family has always owned larger dogs but I’m willing to work with all different types! I love being outdoors and spending time with dogs so taking care of your pet wouldn’t even feel like work! I’m a full time college student currently but would love a break in the day from my studies to be around some pups. My schedule is pretty flexible so I’m willing to work with any type of schedule. I’ve also done a lot of house sitting and pet sitting for people in my family and from my hometown.

Teagan is a great dog sitter and walker for my little Cora. Cora is a playful pup, that loves to run around and is curious about EVERYTHING. She needs to be walked at least twice a day or else she will destroy the house. Being a busy person it becomes very difficult for me to be able to accommodate for such an energetic pup. At first I was a little hesitant to let others walk Cora, but after meeting Teagan and getting to know her I came to the conclusion Cora was in good hands. Teagan seems to have an honest love for dogs, which I have picked up on when I see her interact and play with Cora. It truly warms my heart to see her care and love my little Cora almost as much as I do.

My focus is always on keeping the pet safe. I live near a busy road and have cared for dogs in urban areas with lots of traffic passing by so I always keep dogs on leashes in those areas just to be safe. If possible, I try to take dogs to more quiet, secluded areas to play or walk.

It is most helpful to know of any medicine the dog takes as well as any allergies or things to avoid. If the dog has certain anxieties or stressors that I could help avoid that would also be helpful. Whether the dog likes to play ball, just go for walks, or anything else would also be good to know to ensure the best experience for your pup.
A typical day
I use the All Trails app to find nice spots to hike and walk nearby and I already know if some good walking places and fields to play in around Manchester. I love being outside and I know most dogs do, too, so I would have no problem finding good spots to play.

Availability
I am full-time in school and work part-fime, but I do most of my schooling and work from home so my schedule is quite flexible. I am most available nights after 5pm, but I do have bandwidth throughout most days to accommodate an hour or two for a walk or visit.
