I've grown up with dogs my entire life, from having them and loving them in my own home to loving my friends' dogs too. I understand that dogs are more than just animals, they're family. It can be stressful or worrisome when leaving them for awhile, and they deserve the same care they'd receive whether their owner is there or away. Since I don't have any dogs myself these days, I really miss the connection I feel with animals. This is a wonderful opportunity to love animals while helping out a family in any way I can. I also understand that dogs need nurturing, patience, time to play, food, taken on walks, and a good belly rub. There is nothing I'd love more than to take care of animals.
